Online investing company becomes more convenient for self-directed investors in larger, more prominent location
LOS ANGELES, February 16, 2012 – Scottrade, Inc., a leading branch-supported online investing company, is relocating Friday, March 2, its Anaheim, Calif. Branch Office to the Pads at Harmony in Orange. This Branch Office, providing investment education to self-directed investors since 2006, will continue to be managed by Richard Ikeh.

“Scottrade’s branch office network of 500-plus locations throughout the country provides an extra outlet for clients to come in and meet face-to-face with a Scottrade stock broker and learn how to make better investment decisions,” Ikeh said. “This newer, more prominent location in Orange will encourage our diverse lot of investors to stop in and attend one of our educational seminars.”
Scottrade’s branch seminars provide local, in-person investment education and helps clients navigate its trading tools. More than 150 seminars per week, on average, are held in branch offices across the country for traders and investors.
“Our seminar turnout has been fantastic,” Ikeh said. “We’ve had so many people looking to gain knowledge about investing that I’m sure this location will only allow us to do more.”
Scottrade operates 25 branch offices in the Greater Los Angeles area, providing an extra step of customer service to its online trading tools. Stock brokers are available to answer account-related questions, provide in-person and over-the-phone customer service and give tutorials on its trading tools, including the Scottrade trading website and the Scottrade® Mobile App. Though Scottrade does not offer advice, it offers educational resources to help self-directed investors make better-informed decisions.
