Scottrade provides free educational conferences to Chinese-speaking investors and traders for the second consecutive year
LOS ANGELES, July 16, 2012 – As Scottrade’s Asia Pacific Services department continues its commitment to equip Chinese-speaking clients with more investment education, it prepares to host its Client Education Conference Aug. 4 in Los Angeles. The event will be the final of three national conferences this year for Chinese-speaking clients.

For beginners to advanced traders, the full-day event is broken into several sessions to cover a variety of investing topics. Morning sessions are geared toward basic subjects for those who are new to investing, while afternoon sessions provide topics for experienced traders. Attendees can tailor their experience by attending the full day or choose to focus on certain areas, including:
- An introduction to options trading
- How to use Scottrade’s online trading tools to screen stocks
- How to use technical analysis and fundamental analysis to find potential trends and trading opportunities
- An overview of U.S. stock market trading rules
Client Education Conference presenters include Jennifer Zhou, Asia Pacific Services market localization supervisor; Sabina Yuan, senior products and services analyst; Chitsun Chen and Luis Cheng, investment education analysts; and Jennie Liu, online community specialist. Local branch office associates will also be available to talk before and after each presentation, provide one-on-one tutorials and answer specific questions about investing online.
