Scottrade Launches “Scottrade Stories” to Showcase Associates, Corporate Culture and Community Involvement

ST. LOUIS, April 4, 2017Scottrade, Inc. today launched Scottrade Stories, a new feature on its About Us website showcasing the firm’s associates and the organization’s corporate culture and community involvement. The stories featured on the site will highlight the commitment associates demonstrate to their fellow coworkers and their communities.

“Not only do we invest in associates’ well-being with opportunities to learn, grow and innovate, we support and encourage them to make an impact on the causes near to their hearts,” said Jane Wulf, Scottrade’s chief administrative officer. “When Scottrade associates volunteer in their communities or make a donation to support a charitable organization, they are sharing in the company’s values of stewardship, compassion and integrity.”

At Scottrade, investing isn’t just an important part of the business; it’s a philosophy that extends beyond the office and into the neighborhoods where associates and clients live. Scottrade proudly supports organizations championed by associates, and believes that charitable endeavors help create strong, vibrant communities. Thanks to their year-round dedication to volunteering, associates across the organization extend the company’s core value of “doing what’s right” into local communities.

Through its Charitable Giving Program, Scottrade matches dollar-for-dollar associates’ contributions to organizations, and each year, associates are encouraged to participate in a Day of Caring and take a day off work to volunteer for a local charity. As part of the company’s Cash for Champions, Scottrade donates $20 for each hour an associate volunteers with the nonprofit. In the last year alone, Scottrade associates have given and the company has matched:

• More than $35,000 raised through Scottrade’s Cash for Champions
• More than 1,200 hours accumulated through Scottrade’s Day of Caring
• More than $135,000 donated through Scottrade’s Charitable Matching Program

Scottrade invites visitors to explore the site and truly get to know the heart of the firm – its associates. To view the Scottrade Stories and to learn more about the company and the amazing work of the associates, visit
