At Scottrade, investing isn’t just an important part of our business: It’s a philosophy that extends beyond where we work and into the neighborhoods where our associates and clients live. We proudly support organizations championed by our associates, and believe that our charitable endeavors help create strong, vibrant communities.

We encourage associates to actively participate in the communities where they work and live. Through our Charitable Giving Program, Scottrade matches dollar-for-dollar associates’ contributions to organizations. Scottrade also donates $20 for each hour an associate volunteers. For one day each year, associates have a paid day off to spend volunteering in our Day of Caring Program. Some of the non-profit organizations Scottrade supports include:

Alzheimer’s Association® March of Dimes®
American Cancer Society® Rebuilding Together®
American Heart Association® Ronald McDonald House
American Red Cross Salvation Army
Food Outreach St. Louis Area Food Bank
Humane Society of the United States Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®Foundation
Junior Achievement USA® United Way

Our associates are the focal points of Scottrade’s culture. Thanks to their year-round dedication to volunteer work, they extend our foundation of “doing what’s right” into local communities in need of charitable assistance. We are proud to say that our associates are ambassadors of generosity and devotion to the communities in which they live and work.
